- 500ml Strawberry cider (In the picture above I used Old Mout strawberry and pomegranate, but I have also used Kopparberg strawberry and lime and Brothers strawberry cider and all have worked nicely.)
- 200ml White Zinfandel rose wine
- 50ml Malibu
- 50ml Vodka
- 200ml Lemonade (you can add more or less lemonade to suit your taste and strength required)
Mix all the ingredients together in a jug or bowl, and refrigerate until ice cold. For best results, put your serving glasses in the freezer for about 20 minutes immediately prior to serving.
If you want to add ice and fruit, I prefer to add them to the serving glasses rather than the jug or bowl to stop the flavour being impaired. I like to use sliced strawberries and bananas and a slice of pineapple to decorate the glass, but you can use any you want to.
For a quirky touch if you are serving to guests, why not use fresh coconuts cut in two instead of glasses?

It's gorgeous – perfect for drinking in the sunny weather
This sounds fabulous and very strong. I love Malibu but don't tend to drink a lot of it these days.
Great post #summerdays
It is pretty strong! If you don't want to use Malibu it also works with Peach Schnapps or dark rum
That looks like a great refreshing drink. We always refer to those types of drinks as boat drinks for some reason. #anythingGoes.
Would be pretty good drinking this up on deck in the sun, that's for sure
Does sound pretty good. Shame it's become pretty miserable and wet here after days of glorious sunshine!
Same here – it's more mulled wine weather than summer cocktails lol!
I didn't even know that strawberry cider even existed! #AnythingGoes
Oh you have to try it, it's lovely
I'd probably skip the wine, but that sounds like a nice morning off drink
It's really nice. It would probably still be nice without the wine though
Oooh, I do love a nice cocktail. Thanks for sharing this on #SummerDays – hope you join us again next week.

Yummy. I feel a late evening (child free) supermarket shop coming on, need strawberry cider in my life!! This cocktail is right up my street!
It's really nice and refreshing, I hope you enjoy it
Oh fruit punch that's not orange based. Win!
Thank you, there's a lot of orange based drinks about at the minute isn't there. Thought I would try something a little different
These sound gorgeous Debbie! I love a new cocktail recipe.
