I’m a little late posting January’s reading list, but I have made a start on the books at least. And don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about last month’s list. The books have all been read and their reviews will be going live over the next few days.
If you saw my Challenge Accepted post, you will know one of my challenges this year is to read 50 books, so there can be no more skiving off reading. It will be hard enough without falling behind. So here goes:
January’s Reading List
Dying for Christmas by Tammy Cohen
So technically, I probably should have read this in December, but I didn’t spot it until after Christmas and I liked the sound of it, so I will indeed be reading a Christmas book in January.
Death Angel by Linda Fairstein
I love the crime genre, and when I found out this book’s main setting is Central Park it was a must read for me. I think I am slightly obsessed with the idea of New York, and it’s just not going away.
Ever After by Kim Harrison
To be honest, I only looked at this book to see how something that looked like a bit of mummy porn had ended up in the horror section. After reading the blurb, it sounds like anything but mummy porn. It’s actually about demons, witches, and the after life. Right up my street. It confirms that the old saying, don’t judge a book by it’s cover, is still sometimes true.
The Shroud Maker by Kate Ellis
Another crime book, this one has the added twist of a fantasy based web site being at the centre of the action. I’m not sure if it will work, but I’m definitely interested to find out.
I can’t wait to get stuck into these.
What about you – which books are on January’s reading list for you? Do you like the sound of these ones? Let me know in the comments 🙂
