  1. Surprisingly, my most viewed post as of today is My “Throw me to the wolves” post, then Shannara Chronicles Review, Then my post about my Therapist. Can’t wait to see what happens next month. January is pretty mild, weather wise here too. I can’t believe it’s February already (well, it will be over here in about 4 1/2 hours). Ever since I joined two Facebook blogger groups and have been more active on multiple social media sites, including stumble upon, I have notice a major spike in my stats. Here’s to all of us gaining more viewers for 2016! #anythinggoes

  2. Katie (Growing Up KaterTot)

January was a rough month for me, probably because it took me awhile to get back into the swing of thing after the holidays. My most viewed posts were my Modern Oats Review and my Paper Plate Snowman craft. My Weekly Words post on effort was my least viewed post. February marks my blog’s first birthday, and I’m so excited!! Hoping things pic, up a bit! #AnythingGoes

    • Sorry to hear that Katie, onwards and upwards, write it off and keep going! I loved your snowman craft 🙂 I’m surprised that one of your weekly words was your least viewed, they are always so inspirational. My blog’s birthday is in February too 🙂

  3. Harry's Honest Mummy

Very honest of you to list your best and worst. January is always that month of reflection and goal setting so it’s no surprise to me that your post about goals for 2016 was the outright winner. People like to take a sneaky peek and perhaps steal a few for themselves 🙂 That being said…..need to think about mine, now where is that link….. #AnythingGoes

  4. Catie: An imperfect mum

I need to be more reflective regarding my blog and which posts are popular. I don’t do this. January started quite slowly but has picked up well. My best posts were Family Fun #1 my new Linky, What is autism? and Please don’t tell me my autistic son looks normal.

    • To be honest I do it more to satisfy my curiosity than anything else, I don’t let it influence what I post, although maybe I should. I loved your post about people not telling you your autistic son looks normal, very eye opening!

  5. Tracey Abrahams

I loved your five facts about me post, but maybe thats because im a nosey moo. My best post this month was How To Move To WordPress.org I find that posts about blogging always get good stats from from the linkies. However they dont do much for my non blogging readers so I have to space them out xx #anythinggoes

    • Thank you! There’s nothing wrong with being nosey, I’m the same only I call it curious haha 🙂 I loved that post, I wish it had been around before I moved! I agree, the blog tips posts always do well, but it could be a bit off putting to anyone not interested in starting a blog or already blogging x

  6. Mommy's Little Princesses

I’m so glad to hear that January has been a good month for you and that it hasn’t dragged. Your goals for 2016 sound absolutely fabulous I hope you manage to achieve them all. Xx #KCACOLS

  7. It’s ironic because I read your top three posts but none of your least viewed posts. I never know which ones will take off – besides the social media tips which always do well. Right now, my toilet training tips have gone crazy – and I didn’t expect that. I’m glad to see that our day of positivity made the top three! #AnythingGoes x

    • A couple of people have said that, maybe the titles aren’t up to scratch or something! It’s nice when a post does better than you expect. I read your toilet training post, I’m not even a parent and I thought the tips were fab! I know I was pleased about that, it’s good to know people like the positive things 🙂 x

  8. Agent Spitback

It’s good to reflect. I haven’t looked at mine yet and it’s strange to think that sometimes what you think will do well doesn’t and vice versa. Thanks for sharing yours (I actually popped to read about the 5 facts about you 🙂 )and hosting.

  9. I need to get my motivation back as it’s waned slightly but I think having a couple of low key weeks
has helped and hopefully I can get back on form. I’m hoping for a good February.

  10. I’ve had a good month, despite posting a little less than normal to focus on finishing my current book project. I must say that I really appreciate being part of #AnythingGoes, so a big thanks to you!

  11. I read one from each list! Your Bucket List is admirable and I think I’m right in saying you can tick one or two off already? Oh and I don’t think Watermelon tastes the same as it used to. Less flavour! Good luck with your goals. As long as you are chipping away at them, you are achieving. Thanks for hosting. Nicky #AnythingGoes

  12. wendy

Ohh I am going to go check out your blogging bucket list and have a look at your reading list too. I took time off over Christmas too, I think most of us bloggers did. I never look at my individual post views, just my general page views. I am curious to know what my most popular posts are now!xx #anythinggoes

  13. Trista, Domesticated Momster

Every time I see how many views you have my jaw drops! Think you’re doing fabulous Debbie! I’m popping over from #manicmonday 💌Trista

  14. tracey bowden

I really need to track which of my posts do well so I know what to write more of. My fiction pieces tend to e more popular than my real life ones lately! #KCACOLS

  15. Silly Mummy

I’ve never seen anyone do a most and least viewed roundup – it’s a good way of reviewing your blog progress. I did very little on blog over Christmas – I think it is the best time. I figured there was going to be hardly anyone doing anything and even less reading anything so I might as well have a break & enjoy Christmas! My stats were very low initially, but picked up and probably have averaged at a bit better than they were. #anythinggoes

    • I wanted the post to be balanced, so for me that meant sharing the bad as well as the good. I think Christmas is a good time to have off. Apart from the fact you want to spend time with family etc, no one has spare time to be reading blog posts! Glad to hear they are on the up 🙂

  16. Both December and January were quite low views for me but then I think I fell out of love with it for a bit.Thankfully I’m picking back up now.I’ve never thought of actually seeing which one’s were best/worst though.Great idea x #kcacols

  17. Having done nothing over Christmas, January has been quite busy blog wise. Well done to you on the page views 🙂 Always nice to know that the Internet has found you

  18. Sarah Howe (@RunJumpScrap)

I loved the positivity post! Really inspiring. Sounds like a good month. I enjoyed Christmas off but things have picked up which is nice 🙂 Thanks for linking with #bestandworst x

  19. Well done for the great views on those posts. I think December is a slow month as we normally want to spend some time with the family. I was worried too because I took 2 weeks off and wasn’t sure how was it going to be for me in Jan but it wasn’t that bad. I was glad to know that my blog survived even though I didn’t do much that month so it is promising. What I meant is that I like the idea to be able to take some breaks during the year. Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS. I would love to see you again on Sunday! 🙂 x

  20. I never have checked which posts have been the most popular the past month so don’t know, but I suspect a post about potty training has done consistently well over the last months!

I love the idea about doing 24 hours of positive thinking, I’m a pretty positive person, but this might be fun to do anyway. It’s always good to try and think positively, makes your life and lives of your closest ones much nicer…

Thanks for linking to #mymonthlyroundup and hope to see you next month too 🙂

    • That’s good, the ones that keep doing well over time are so good. The 24 hours of positivity was fab, it really lifted my mood and made me realise how I often I moan for no real reason! Thanks for hosting, and you will see me next month for sure 🙂

  21. This is a really good post, a great way to review your stats but also to encourage readers to click on the least viewed posts 🙂 I think you gain readers quickly as you write daily, and a vast amount of topics 🙂 #AnythingGoes

    • Thank you 🙂 Yes, I try to convince people to show a little love to the posts that are left out lol. I should really map it and see if anyone actually does click through. It definitely helps with traffic posting daily because people check back knowing there’ll be something new.

  22. tanya

I have been really rubbish at reading other people’s blogs the last couple of month, so my apologies. I’m hoping to get better and join more linkies again too 🙂
