That was really a powerful one! And yes, it makes sense. If one would be invisible, there will be no existence at all and people will only talk bad about them. Sad but true!

    Loved your take 🙂

The victim of all the bullying and all the torment grows up and takes revenge and no one sees it coming. Very dark and disturbing indeed. This plays off the theme of some of my blog post themes – the ones where I touch on the villain’s wound. We often overlook the character arc of our villain. What makes him/her tick. What happened in their past that was so traumatic that it caused them to behave the way they do now. Why do they need to hurt others. This was a brilliant piece of flash fiction told from the POV of the villain.

    • Yes, I often find in books I read that the villain seems evil for no apparent reason. I like to know a bit of their past, and why they are acting the way they do. I actually felt a twinge of sympathy for the villain in this story!

  3. Totally intriguing Debbie thank you … I want to go back and read your previous ones when there is more time … there’s nothing like a twist in the tale, reminds me of Roald Dahl and his brilliance in his adult stories …..

  4. Reminds me of Carrie haha, love the end. I definitely felt like this at time during HS. (PS: I was very worried I wasn’t seeing I and J listed on the main A to Z page you have).

  5. This actually reminded me of an episode in the first season of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer where she had to fight a girl who literally became invisible and used that invisibility to take revenge against her bullies, one being Cordelia who was Buffy’s frenemy, LOL! #anythinggoes

Ohh I loved this one. At first I thought it was a ghost but I like this spin on the invisible theme. Those bullies better hide!xx #anythinggoes
