Welcome to day twelve of the A to Z Challenge! My theme is 100 word (give or take a word or two) flash fiction on the darker side of human nature. I hope you enjoy.
Love
It was inevitable that I would end up here. I knew something wasn’t right with him from the moment I first saw him. The designer suit, the expensive haircut, the Rolex and the groupies. He was magnetic. He was so charming I ignored all of the signs. I remember thinking he must be some sort of celebrity. If only it had been that simple. I knew what he really was the first time I disagreed with him. Poison. But the sort of poison that makes you giddy and light headed as it wears you down. The sort you can never leave.
For extended versions of the A-Z flash fiction pieces and some whole new stories too, download my book, Twisted Tales.

I don’t know where “here” is but I hope that she can un-love this person and get out of this situation fast.
Yes, she needs to just go and not look back!
interesting read:) (As always)
Thank you 🙂
Oh boy, this brings back bad memories. Not for me, but I know exactly the type. Addictive, crazy love.
Lovely writing as always <3
Yes, I know the type all too well! Thank you 🙂
Fantastic. Packed a punch in a tiny packet once again.
Thank you so much 🙂
He sounds dangerous. Although, if she turned that around on him, she could be dangerous, too.
Yes, I think this would be a very toxic relationship all round!
Wow. Talk about a love-hate relationship…
Definitely love hate!
Powerful, Debbie! And spot-on as far as noxious (maybe abusive) relationships go.
Thanks for the visits over at Life In Dogs — and so sorry it’s taken me so long to visit back… Next year I really will pre-write the April posts. No, really. I mean it this time. (*Sigh*)
Thank you so much 🙂 No worries, I’m loving your theme! I actually managed to get mine pre-written and I’m still behind today!
She sounds like she’s been there, done that, but didn’t learn the first time.

Yes, she does sound like she knew what to expect!
I want to shout at her to run and get as far away as she can ! X
