April has come and gone, and wow did it fly over. With doing the A to Z Challenge on my blog and finishing my novel, I had an extremely busy month.
Now May is here, things will be a little less hectic, so all my normal features will be back, and I will be linking up with some of my favourite linkys again.
Whilst I’ve been doing the blogging challenge, I haven’t had time to join linkys which has given me time to reflect on which ones work for me the best, and I have narrowed my list down to just a small few I will be joining in with now, which will free up some time for me to work on a book of short stories that I’m planning on releasing mid-June.
Anyway, all of that is completely off topic.
May’s theme will be:
Get Ready For Summer
I’m hoping that this year we will have a lovely warm summer here in the UK (a girl can dream right?), and this month’s theme will be talking about ideas for cheap days out, summer outfits, books, cocktails, and lots more.
I even have a craft post lined up – me, a craft post! I never thought I’d see the day.
I hope you all enjoy the theme.
Do you anything summer related you would like to see me talk about this month? Let me know in the comments ๐

Do you have a theme every month? If so, what a great idea. I’m ready for summer, for sure.

Yeah I have monthly themes because I could never stick to a niche so it just helps it to be a bit organised. Me too, I can’t wait for a bit of warmer weather ๐

Ah, summer… Good theme for May.

Thanks, I can’t wait for summer ๐

Summer reading recommendations are always helpful. Also, I love summer foods. Here in the Pacific Northwest we are warming up early so have already had our first taste of watermelon. I discovered a fun treat a few years back: avocado with grapefruit (you can sweeten with papaya juice if it’s too tart).

Oh, sounds good, it’s still pretty miserable here in the UK, but I’m hopeful! That sounds really nice, perfect to refresh on a warm day ๐
