What Would You Put In Your Room 101?
Auto DMs
I would definitely put auto DMs in my room 101. They are soooo pointless. If I want to like your Facebook page, I will. If I don’t, I won’t. The only effect these DMs have is out me off visiting the page.
If you really can’t resist asking, at least send a personal tweet.
The worst ones are the ones that apologise for sending an auto DM. This is a definite example of “If you were sorry, you wouldn’t do it”.
Eggs
I know that’s a weird one, but everything about eggs is wrong on every level – the look, the smell. Bork. Especially pickled eggs. My one exception to this is chocolate eggs of course 🙂
Judgemental People
We are all on our own paths through life. I firmly believe that unless someone else’s actions directly affect us, or could cause serious harm to someone else, then it’s really not our place to judge them and the choices they make. Live and let live and all that.
Soap Operas
I know in theory that millions of people seem to love watching the soaps, but I just don’t get the appeal. You can put one on that you haven’t seen in twenty odd years and still work out exactly what’s going on in about five minutes. For me, that’s not exactly gripping TV. It also bugs me how as soon as one soap runs a story line, the others all jump on the band wagon. I could go on, I have so many more reasons why they bother me, but I’ve probably upset everyone enough now.

Eggs? Eggs would definitely NOT be in my Room 101 🙂 I’d put people with no manners i.e. people who don’t apologise when they bump into you, folks who don’t help to open the door if they notice that your hands are full, etc…in my Room 101

I wonder if soaps move at such a slow pace because of tradition. By that I mean that 50 years ago and more, their main audience was comprised of housewives who had food to prepare, houses to clean, children to raise, etc., and couldn’t just sit down and give a show their undivided attention. (And gee, wasn’t that profound for a Friday morning?)
You make a good point there, that could well be why. And yes, it really was profound for a Friday morning lol 🙂
I agree with everything except maybe eggs? Though wouldn’t touch picked eggs either 😉

I was obsessed with my soaps…in the ’80s. Then one day I just stopped watching. Now, those shows have been cancelled, and I don’t miss them at all. But I wouldn’t go so far as to say that I hate them. Not gripping TV, for sure.
I watched them as a teen then I think I just outgrew them. Hate is probably a strong word, but I wouldn’t like to be forced to watch them lol

I love Room101 posts and did my own a while back. Eggs? Poor eggs! I guess its no worse than me and my aversion to dry sponges!
I don’t watch soap operas either. Really don’t see the point of them…It’s not even as if it is escapism because they are all so miserable! …Similarly Reality TV shows like Big Brother where you are watching people you wouldn’t ordinarily watch on TV (Z list celebs) doing mundane things.
