I thought it would be fun to share a little bit of Christmas flash fiction with you all today. Just a little 100 worder.
In The Night Time
She lay in the darkness, the still night all around her. She could feel it watching her, it’s glassy eyes boring into her very soul. Its smile was sinister like it knew something she didn’t.
She hardly dared to move, to breathe, fearing that the thing might pounce on her and attack her at any moment.
She knew her imagination was running wild, but she couldn’t help it when she saw those lifeless eyes.
“That’s it,” she sighed, turning to her husband who was laid beside her. “That dam elf on the shelf doesn’t get put in our room anymore!”

Hah! I honestly think he looks creepy, there is no elf in my house. Just fairies – cleaning fairies, cooking fairies, tidy-up fairies, washing fairies etc etc…..
#BloggerClubUK
I could do with some of those fairies lol 😉
Yes! Those bloody elves. I don’t get it…I really don’t – the extra work, I mean, why? A great little story Debbie. Alison x #BloggerClubUK
I know – some people must spend hours each night doing them! Whatever happened to an advent calendar with a little chocolate in lol. Thank you x
I thought this was going to be a real deep and meaningful serious post with a dark ending lol and was glad to realise that it was just a bit of fun. Made me chuckle. Thanks for the laugh.

Glad that tradition wasn’t popular, when my kids were little!
Ha That’s so good. My sister bought the brithday outfit for ours and I was like….no way! Christmas is enough. It’s not coming out any other time.
