I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year’s.
I know I did. When I was younger, New Year’s Eve was a chance to go out and see in the new year. The last two years, I’ve stayed in. I realised I don’t really like New Year’s Eve. It’s such an anti-climax, and I much prefer to stay home with a bottle of wine and a movie.
January to me is a time for reflections – reflecting on the year gone by and the year ahead. I like to look back over the past year and see what went right, what went wrong, and how to move forward effectively. Then I like to set my goals for the year ahead.
This month on the blog will be a reflection on last year – a bucket list update, how I did on my challenges and some personal reflection. Followed by my looking forward section – my goals and challenges for 2017. There’ll also be some book reviews too.
Wishing you all the best for 2017 – let’s enjoy the ride together!

Thank you 🙂

My entire holiday season was blown off, pretty much… for a number of reasons. Glad yours went well.

Sorry to hear that – hope things get better for you soon!

YES A KINDRED SOUL! I also think New Years is anti-climatic. I was awake this year and watched a live stream while rant tweeting about how when I was little I was so disappointed in the ball drop. LOL

Haha, I’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels like this!
