  1. bloody hell you are the busiest woman i know! Do you have more hours in your days where you are (I’m on Earth, UK, Wales) …glad to hear you like me don’t edit your blog – i proof read and spell check (and sometimes i choose to keep my own made up words in there despite the grammar police!). .. Just joined in your #anythinggoes Linky for the first time too (my only two writing resolution are (1) to be more interactive – use linkys / hashtags etc and (2) find some better indexing system for the tweeter I follow etc and the linkys and the hashtags… there must be a better way. Anyway, just wanted to say “Hi” x

    • Haha, I really wish I did have more hours in the day! Oh I love a good made up word – sometimes the right one just doesn’t exist lol. Thanks for joining in with the linky it’s great to have you. And they are great resolutions x

  2. Congratulations Debbie on all of this! Especially the self-publishing and publishing three books! That’s amazing! And congrats on making it with the freelance writing. Not everyone can do it. I know I can’t. You’re an awesome host at #bloggerclubuk

  3. That’s such a great list of goals and it’s really impressive how much you’ve achieved! I’m in awe of anyone who manages daily posting – I’m a 3 a week-er generally. It took me a long time to take the plunge and set up a blog facebook page too – there’s something scary about outing yourself to all your friends – but I’m so glad I did, as it’s been a really positive move. #bloggerclubuk

  5. I’ve been having the best time reading how everyone had got on with their goals for last year and being nosy about what plans for 2017 look like.
I’m so glad to see you amended your daily blogging goal, we all need a break! #bloggerclubuk

  10. Wow that is a lot of achievements in a year! I don’t blog everyday so I’m finding its taking me a lot longer to grow my blog and social media. My blogging goals for this year must be SEO and photography goals! 🙂

  11. It’s really really amazing to see how much you have achieved. I hope you read that back and took a second (or a few minutes actually) to take it all in, as it’s huge! 50 books in itself is a huge achievement! Congratulations on writing your first novel and self-publishing 3 books! I’d love to write the 2 e-books I have in mind this year, but I’ve yet to write a single word about either of them this year! Congrats on leaving your job too (I did that last year). I’m excited for you and sure you’ll be looking back at 2017 and see more amazing things having been achieved! #BloggerClubUK

  12. Wow Debbie just when I thought I had got to the end of your list of achievements there was another one. You have done so well, which is not surprising given all the effort you have put in. Good luck for an even bigger and better year in 2017. #bloggerclubuk

What an amazing list of goals – I’m not sure I’d achieve one of those- I’ve already spent a year trying to write a novel and losing momentum 😩 …
I’m certainly going to take inspiration from your list of goals for my 2017 goals 👍🏻
Your so determined – well done.
Would be amazing to have a guest post from you on my blog if you’re interested .

  15. It sounds like you had a very productive year – even if the 50,000 book challenge was it, i’d say you achieved success!

You accomplished so much last year from writing a novel to blogging & social media, I’m in awe! Pen x

  22. What an inspiring post that has given me great ideas for my own ‘to do list’ as I start my new blog. I’d love to hear more about no. 12 as I hope to do this when I return to work later this year

    • Good luck with the blog! I started out freelancing through Upwork and I still get work through there now too. It’s a good starting place as your protected, just know your worth and don’t be talked into working cheaper than you should!

  23. Susie at This Is Me Now

You’ve achieved so much! So fantastic you’ve been able to stop your old job and freelance now. I am in awe of you! #BloggerClubUk
