1 Firstly, tell us a little bit about yourself
My name is Rachel. I am a wife and mother to three delightful little beasts. I am a southerner currently living in the northeast. My actual job is a Family Worker but I am enjoying the delights of maternity leave at the moment. I am a pretty creative person and love a craft project. We are currently renovating our home so I’m getting plenty of opportunity to flex my creativity.
2 What is your blog’s name and what is it about?
My blog is called Mumma Hub. It’s a bit of an all sorts blog from home renovations, fitness to parenting tips.
3 Why did you decide to start a blog?
I decided to start blogging initially to share parenting tips I use at work and at home. This has grown into a bit of a diary. I’d love the kids to read back to the things we’ve done or places we’ve been.
4 Do you have any goals for your blog?
I’d love my blog to grow. I’m revelling in New Year motivation at the moment. I really hope I can keep this momentum going.
5 Tell us one random fact about you
I have worn a toe ring for over 15 years, I never take it off. My toe bone is indented from wearing it as a teenager whilst my feet were still growing! Gross right!?
6 What is the best piece of blog related advice you have received so far?
Don’t overthink it!!
7 What is your favourite thing about blogging?
There’s a big blogging community out there, which I have tapped into a little bit. But, like I mentioned earlier if I can manage not to cringe at myself, I hope to read back over our adventures.
8 Is there anything you would do differently if you were starting over knowing what you know now?
I wouldn’t have beaten myself up about how I came across. I try to write how I would speak. My blog is me!
