I love Mother’s Day – its the perfect excuse to spoil my mum. I think often we rely on our mums even as we get older and its nice to be able to have that one day that’s all about her.
It’s a mother’s nature to put her children first and sacrifice things she would maybe like to have to give her children things instead. Usually its only once we are adults ourselves that we truly appreciate what our mums have done for us, and Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate your mum and everything she’s done for you.
If your mum is anything like mine, if you ask her what she wants, she’ll say “nothing, just a card” and you know she means it. But of course you want to get her something special too. It can be hard to find something unique that you know your mum will love.
If you’re struggling to think of something to get your mum, read on for some great ideas that your mum is sure to love.
Mother’s Day Gifts From Amara
Amara has so many beautiful items on their site, it’s hard to choose.
But I have narrowed it down to the three items I thought my mum would love – and I was right. I gave her the gifts early because I was so excited and she loves them all. It really made her day and this way, I get to spoil her twice.
The items were delivered quickly (within two working days) and were packed securely. The packing material was covered by some pretty tissue paper.
Cote Noire English Roses in Dark Glass in Ivory
My mum adores flowers, but when you buy a bunch of flowers they die so quickly and it just seems a shame. These artificial roses look really real, and the added scent bottles makes them smell as good as the real thing too.
The pot and roses are good quality. The pot has enough weight in it that it wouldn’t topple over if you happened to knock it on the way past. And the smell is amazing – just like a real bunch of flowers but without the sneezing (hayfever).
The dark pot is also available with pink or yellow roses, and there is an option for a white pot too.

Joules Tourer Leather Cross-Body Bag in Black
A nice handbag is always a good choice – at least if your mum is like mine. My mum loves bags and purses and I loved the fact this bag is real leather.
I chose the black as I know my mum usually goes for black handbags as they go with everything, but the bag is also available in chestnut.
The bag is lovely and soft and has lots of little pockets and compartments which is perfect to make sure you can find everything easily. The strap is adjustable too so you can be sure to get it to a length you love.

Pip Studio Upside Down Scarf in Pink
My mum has a bit of a scarf obsession, and pink is one of her favourite colours, so this scarf appealed to me straight away.
The scarf is the perfect combination of the look of a silk scarf and the texture and thickness of a warmer scarf. Its light enough to look dressy rather than bulky but thick enough to keep the chill away. Its good quality and has a lovely feel to it. The scarf is also available in blue.

What beautiful gifts you have chosen there for your Mum. She is lucky to have a lovely daughter like you. I hope she enjoys her presents. I haven’t even started to think about Mother’s Day yet…oops!
She loved them 🙂 Haha, I’m not usually this organised!
This a great gift guide. I love to get nice presents for my mum for Mother’s Day but I’m always at a loss. The joules bag looks great.
It’s so hard isn’t it? And I always end up getting the same old stuff so I wanted something different this year!
Great gift ideas, my mum is exactly the same with only ever requesting a card. Which is lovely but at the same time frustrating as there’s no suggestion as to what else she’d like! I particularly like the Joules handbag, we’re a family of Joules fans so something like that certainly be a hit. As for artifical flowers, I can vouch for them being a great gift. We got my mum some a couple of years ago and they still look great but it’s important to get decent ones otherwise they can look tacky – these ones look just as good as the ones we got, if not better!
I know what you mean – it is nice that they genuinely would be happy with a card, but then you end up buying something when there might be something different they’d rather have! Some artificial flowers look like something a magician pulls out of his hat lol, but these look really real!
Oh, these are all brilliant mothers day gifts – things any mum would love to receive! I really like the flowers especially as they will last forever & look really pretty too! It’s great how nicely packaged everything arrived.
Thank you 🙂 I’m not usually a fan of artificial flowers, but these look so real!
What a great idea and I love the gifts you chose. What a spoiled Mum! I’m hankering after the bag and scarf, they’ve got my name on. I feel a sudden shopping urge…
Haha go for it!
Ooh that handbag is gorgeous! I would definitely love to receive that on Mothers Day but being so close to my birthday I am not sure I’ll get anything ha!
Thank you 🙂 Aww, I’m sure you will! I hope you enjoyed your birthday and got spoilt!
My first thought was Mothers Day? That is so far away.
My very next thought was Holy Shit it is March!
Where did these part few months even go?

Lovely gifts. My Mum is quite hard to buy for. A couple of years ago the best present we ever got her was an Afternoons Tea at the hotel where I got married. It was just me, my sister and her and she loved it. #anythinggoes
What a lovely idea – so personal and I’m sure you all had a fab time together!
Great gift ideas! I would love a new bag for Mother’s Day!

My mum is so hard to buy for, she usually ends up with garden vouchers so she can buy something for her garden, which is her favourite thing! I love the artificial roses, they look so real! #BloggerClubUK
Some great gift ideas – I’ll pass this onto my husband for inspiration on behalf of our daughter 🙂 #BloggerClubUK

Such lovely gifts! My mum is exactly the same and never wants anything. But this year is my first mothers day and when my husband asked me what I wanted I said nothing!! So, I’m exactly the same!! #BloggerClubUK
Lol, I think it’s a mum thing!
Ooh so many lovely gift ideas! I’d be happy with any of those things to be honest, although I also like to receive something hand made by the children! #bloggerclubuk
All I want for Mothers Day is to lay in bed all day…and eat cheese 😉
That is kind of my dream at this point.
#bloggerclubuk
That sounds like an all round good day!
Some great picks. I’m forever telling my family I don’t want anything but that Joules bag has given me ideas #bloggerclubuk

Lovely presents for mother’s day – I’d love a new handbag but think I might have to settle for a cup of coffee in bed but that’ll be just fine. #anythinggoes
Beautiful presents here for your mum. I love them all, especially the scarf and I wear different ones all the time to jazz up my fairly boring work clothes that i wear. I love this one in your pictures.
