1 Firstly, tell us a little bit about yourself

Hi there! My name is Kristen, and I’m a freelance writer who lives in the United States in the beautiful state of Florida with my husband and our 2-year-old son. We love to travel, and we especially enjoy exploring everything our state has to offer.

2 What is your blog’s name and what is it about?

My blog is Your Florida Travel Info, and it’s all about helping you plan your perfect Florida getaway.

From the popular theme parks to the gorgeous beaches, I know there’s so much to explore here.

Because my husband and I do so much traveling around our state, I also know all the insider information, such as how to save money when you visit Disney World and where to find the top isolated beaches.

This blog is where I share all that information.

3 Why did you decide to start a blog?

Let’s face it; traveling is expensive. I know if I save up all that money to go on a trip, I want to make sure I enjoy every possible second.

You always hear people say if you want to get the most out of your trip, you need to ask the locals what they do.

I started Your Florida Travel Info to share my knowledge so you can make sure you’ve planned the best trip possible.

I share tips on saving money, the best things to do in cities throughout the state, and general information about getting the most from your vacation.

4 Do you have any goals for your blog?

I love my state, and I want everyone who has a chance to visit to enjoy every second they’re here. That’s why my main goal is helping people plan their trip to Florida.

I would love to grow Your Florida Travel Info into a one-stop place for all the information people need to plan perfect vacations.

5 Tell us one random fact about you

When I say I love to travel, it isn’t limited to just Florida. I’ve also been to 49 out of 50 states. The only one I haven’t been to is Alaska, but I’m making plans.

6 What is the best piece of blog related advice you have received so far?

Never forget your voice. I remember reading that people don’t follow sites as much as they follow other people.

When I think about the blogs I enjoy following, I realize how very true this is. I follow them because I like the person who’s writing the blog, and I enjoy reading what they have to share.

7 What is your favourite thing about blogging?

I love connecting with other people. I enjoy taking this one thing we share an interest in (traveling in Florida) and building a relationship from it.

8 Is there anything you would do differently if you were starting over knowing what you know now?

I would focus more on social media. Even though I know how important it is, I feel like I’m just terrible at growing followers for my blog’s social media accounts.

9 Anything else you’d like to share with us?
