It’s fair to say I read a lot of books (that’s the understatement of the decade) and choosing just ten of my favourites from last year was hard.

Oh I like the sound of Eve & Adam. I will have to add it to my TBR pile! And well done for creating a top ten I tried for 2017 and failed!
Give it a go, it’s really good 🙂 It’s hard to choose just ten isn’t it!
Just curious. Did you read 1984 again, or had you never read it before?
Ashamed to admit I’d never read it before!
Oh I love 1984! I haven’t read it for absolutely ages so I may pick that back up again. I really enjoyed Eeny meeny; such a great easy read. I’ve recently read Behind her Eyes by Sarah Oinborough which I really enjoyed. Another one I read over Christmas was The Marriage pact by Michelle Richmond but I didn’t enjoy the ending. I haven’t seen THE foster child so will check this out! Thanks for the list. #anythinggoes
Oh I’ve just bought The Marriage Pact – I hope it’s not a fizzly out ending lol. The Foster Child is a fab read!
Ummm well it’s not the ending I would have chosen…..🧐🤨 but you’ll see what I mean when you read it! Back with #bloggerclubuk
I need to get into this now haha – I just need to finish my current one because the author is expecting her review
The only one I’ve read is 1984, I’m too chicken to read the ones that’ll keep me up in the dark!! #anythinggoes
Lol – try the Adele Parks one if you’re looking for something none gory 🙂
I want to try The Ritual! #anythinggoes
I prefer happy stories! All romance over here 🙂 Nicholas Sparks, Nora Roberts
#anythinggoes
Katelynn
I’ve tried a few of that kind and I just keep waiting for someone to get murdered/haunted etc. lol
Wow, I haven’t read any of these… I got 4 new books for Christmas. Oce I have read them I may need to return to this list! #AnythingGoes
Debbie – Peggy The Doll is not going to help with my sleep paralysis!!! 🙂 #anythinggoes
Oh no she really isn’t lol sorry!
Can’t really find the time for reading novels these days… But still want to read 1984. It’s a classic and I know the outlines but haven’t read it myself. My hubby loved it when he read it some years ago, and he’s not a great book lover so it must be quite special 📖☺️
#BloggersClubUK
Generally I’m not a huge fan of the classics but this one pulled me in – it reads like a good story and it isn’t too flowery which I often find with the classics
No, I think that one should be completely ‘flowery free’, from what I’ve heard 😄👍x
Ohhh I think I might have a read of About Last Night. I haven’t read a good book for years #BloggerClubUK
One of my NY resolutions is to read more! I barely make it through one book a month at the moment because I don’t make time for it. This list gives me a bit of motivation #bloggerclub
I hope you enjoy them! It can be hard to fit it in sometimes but I find I can’t sleep without reading at least a few pages first
As If my kindle “to be read” list needed to get any bigger! Great recommendations #bloggerclubuk
Haha I always feel that way when I read people’s bookish lists
Peggy the Doll will haunt me! YEESH! Very diverse list! #bloggerclubuk
What a fantastic selection – one of my favourite authors of all time is Jodi Picoult, so I want to read more of her books in 2018 🙂 #BloggerClubUK
Oh I love her books!
Not ashamed to admit that I am more a romance reader. All these books would make me too scared to sleep knowing me Haha! I’m guessing you have a favourite genre!
#BloggersClubUK
Lol probably avoid these then (except the Adele Parks one, that’s not scary haha).
Ooh, I haven’t read any of these!
Try a couple, they’re all fab reads 🙂
I’m ashamed to say I hardly read anything at all last year. Maybe I should have a new year resolution to try to get through a few more books this year. Thanks for the inspiration! #bloggerclubuk
wow. i’ve only read two off that list. Better get a shift on #bloggersclubUK
I’ve made it my mission to read one book a month throughout 2018, so far I’ve read two so I’m a little ahead of myself! I’ll definitely be adding a few of these to my reading list! #bloggerclubuk
Great that you’ve gotten ahead. Hope you enjoy the ones on the list 🙂
Great list, making me want to read more (more than just children’s books to kids anyway!) thanks. First time on your #bloggerclubuk linky, looks fab
I love reading so great to know the list made you want to read more. Thanks for joining us, great to have you 🙂
One of my goals for 2018 is to read more so this is great for some inspiration – I don’t think I’ve read any of these 🙂 #BloggerClubUK
Oh I hope you enjoy them!
I love 1984. It’s one of those books I read through every couple of years. I’ll have to check out some of the others on this list.
The one I’ve read of these is 1984 and this has reminded me that I’d like to read it again actually! Having said that I’m quite into audio books at the moment – I seem to have more time for them #BloggerClubUK
It’s years since I read 1984! Haven’t read the others but I’m going through a bit of a chick lit phase at the moment! #BloggerClubUK
Thank you so much for sharing these with us… The Ritual looks like something I may actually give a try 😀

I am interested in Eve & Adam. That sounds very interesting! Right now I am finishing up a book called The Historian and will be writing a review on it in a couple of weeks. After that I plan to read Three Sisters, Three Queens by Philippa Gregory. She’s one of my favorite authors. Now I have another book to read though. Thanks Debbie:) #anythinggoes
You’ll love Eve and Adam! Oh I’ve never tried Philippa Gregory, might give one of hers a go
I don’t think I gave myself the time to finish a single book last year. That’s one of my goals this year! Thanks for all the great ideas!
#bloggerclubuk
I remember reading 1984 in school and not enjoying it, but I’ve re-read a few other books from school as an adult and really enjoyed them so I might give it another go when I get time. I’ve got quite a long reading list myself for this year. #BloggerClubUK
I think when you’re forced to read something it’s much harder to enjoy it.
I’ve only read the Adele Parks out of these! I don’t manage to read anywhere near as much as I used to. I need to make more time for it #bloggerclubuk
1984 is the only one of these I’ve read and that was years ago! Some of them look great and I fancy a thriller for my next book. #bloggerclubuk
