I believe that having a positive outlook on life and the things around you can make a huge difference to how happy and satisfied you feel with your life. Being grateful for what you have rather than being envious of what you don’t have can make a huge difference too.
I always try to look at things from a positive view point – being negative doesn’t change your situation, it just makes you feel miserable.
For that reason, I thought that I would share eight things I’m loving right now.
Books
It would be a strange day for me if I ever stopped loving books. They can take you to places you would never otherwise go, make you feel things that you didn’t think were possible and open your mind to things you never would have otherwise considered.
Books can give you a chance to switch off and lose yourself in someone else’s life, feel their feelings, think their thoughts. And they can stay with us for a long time after we’ve put then down.
I’m currently reading The Marriage Pact by Michelle Richmond.
Blogging
Again, I don’t think I’ll ever fall out of love with blogging. Sure there are days when things go wrong, and it can get a bit overwhelming, but overall, it’s so rewarding.
It still blows my mind after almost three of blogging to know that I have somewhere I can go to share my thoughts and experiences with people who actually want to read about them.
Coconut Oil
I’m not usually someone who gets on board with fads, but in fairness, the benefits of coconut oil have been known for a long time, only now it seems to be hitting the mainstream more.
I have eczema, and up until a couple of months ago I was forced to use steroid creams to control it which I hate as they do so much damage to your damage to your skin.
After only using coconut oil for oil pulling, I did some research and found that it can help eczema too. I started swallowing a spoonful twice a day and my skin is totally clear without using any steroid creams.
I use Pipkin Organic Coconut Oil – always try to get a cold pressed, organic coconut oil for best results.
Writing
As I write full time, I write every day. Sometimes, it can feel like a chore, but mostly, it feels like freedom. Right now, I’m loving writing, and I feel like I have been so productive lately.
My new non-fiction book, Optimise your Blog Like a Boss has just been released (only 99p) and I’m almost finished the final draft of my latest novel as well.
Estee Lauder Lipstick in Envy
I’m a big fan of Estee Lauder make-up and this lipstick in Envy is no exception. It goes on smooth, doesn’t make my lips feel dry and lasts for ages without having to reapply it.
A New Venture
I am so excited about a new venture I’m undertaking. I can’t share the details just yet (although I’m dying to), but when I do, I really hope some of you will join me for the journey.
Jane the Virgin
I know I’m a bit late to the party on this one, but I’ve just watching Jane the Virgin on Netflix. It’s over the top to the point of ridiculous in parts, but that’s part of its charm. And it’s completely addictive.
Yankee Candles
I love all of the Yankee Candles, but even though it’s March, I’m still loving this Christmas Tree scented one.
What are you loving right now? Let me know in the comments 🙂

I’ve found coconut oil is good for baking too. Been substituting that for butter. No reason for me to do other than I think it’s cheaper in the long run.

Great post! I think sometimes we get so caught up with everything that we forget to stop and appreciate the things that make us ‘us’! Mine would be books, loud rock music and making bread!

Books are definitely one of life’s great things. I bought coconut oil a while back and I’ve used it approximately twice. It just sits in my larder melting and solidifying with the seasons! #bloggerclubuk
Debbie, My Random Musings
Haha I hope you find a use for it 🙂

I completely agree! It’s always best to focus on the positives rather than the negatives even if you’re feeling down there’s always something to be happy about we just have to look hard sometimes #BloggerClubUK

Love this idea – it’s so important to focus on the positives of life – even when it’s easier to focus on the tough bits! I’m loving scented candles at the moment too – I’ve got a lovely citrus one on the go at the moment #bloggerclubuk
Michelle Kellogg
Oh I need to do some research into coconut oil for my son. He doesn’t have excema but his skin is so sensitive that every time he scratches his skin just a bit too much he ends up with scabs all over. I use Oatmeal shower gel on him and occasionally he will take an oatmeal bath but it hasn’t really alleviated the problem and those steroid skins creams are doing nothing. Thanks Debbie! I need to look into this. #anythinggoes
Debbie, My Random Musings
I swear by it now 🙂
Sara @ Magical Mama Blog
I am new into Coconut oil and it just keeps showing up as the perfect answer to so many of life’s little problems!
#BloggerClubUK
Clare
Coconut oil is something I tried a few years ago, but I had completely forgotten about it. In fact I have still got some somewhere. I think I will start using it again as this weather is really drying on my skin.
Helena
There are some things here that I totally love too. #BloggerClubUK

Great list, totally on board with the whole positive thinking. I’m loving reading (just starting to get back into reading actual books!), blogging and writing (working lots on my blog right now to take it to the next level) and also yoga, which is really helping body and mind! #BloggerClubUK
