As I’m sure you all know by now, I love reading and I love sharing the books I’ve enjoyed with other people. I hate it when I read a really good book and I can’t find anyone else who has read it to discuss it with.
Here are the top five books I’ve read so far this year:
Save Me by Mandasue Heller
This gritty crime thriller will keep you guessing as Ellie’s life crumbles to pieces around her. I love the style of writing in this book, and I really like the way Mandasue Heller brings her characters to life.

The Marriage Pact by Michelle Richmond
A thriller showing how sometimes wanting something to last isn’t always what it seems. I love the unique concept of this, and how quickly things get completely out of hand.
My review is coming on Saturday, so don’t forget to pop back.

Confessions of a Tinderella by Rosy Edwards
This real life account of Rosy’s disastrous dating life will definitely make you laugh. I’ve never tried internet dating, so this was a real eye opener for me.

Quieter Than Killing by Sarah Hilary
This crime novel will keep you guessing right up to the very end. I loved the unique storyline and the twists and turns. The twist at the end is genius.

The Long Walk by Stephen King
I read this years ago, and I’ve just re-read it, and it’s still every bit as good as the first time. I love the idea of the game, and the calm acceptance of the rules from people so desperate as to have no choice but to play.

I’ve read “The Long Walk,” but it’s been forever. I don’t remember it really resonating with me, compared to King’s other work.
I’m currently reading my first Karin Slaughter book, “The Good Daughter,” and really enjoying it.
Debbie, My Random Musings
I’ve read a few of Karin Slaughter’s books, I really like her. I really enjoyed Kisscut

Nice collection. I seem to be stuck in one genre–these look like I should try them.
Heather Keet
I’ve been looking for a new crime thriller, thanks for the recommendation! #AnythingGoes
Maria | passion fruit, paws and peonies
These look good. I have my son’s girlfriend with me and I’ve just shared the list with her. She loves thrillers too! xx
Sophie Edwards
I’ve always had trouble finding great books to read. A lot of them have great covers, a good blurb, but then the pages let them down. These, on the other hand, look very interesting. Definitely worth a look, I think.
Debbie, My Random Musings
I’m terrible for judging books by their covers and titles lol
Michelle Kellogg
Confessions of a Tinderella sounds like a book I would enjoy. I am adding that one to my amazon list!
Debbie, My Random Musings
It’s a great read – fun and easy reading 🙂
Tracy Albiero
I am so jealous. I have been swamped with work reading I have not picked up a book for fun in far too long! I need to load my kindle and keep it in the car for those long rehearsal practices.

I love reading posts about books as it really does encourage me to read more and I want to do that so much and lost the joy of it somewhere in the parenting mix so great to have it back now. Thanks for some new titles to consider #AnythingGoes
Debbie, My Random Musings
I love reading and I always find new books to try off other people’s posts too 🙂
Clare
Oh you make me feel really bad now, I don’t think I have read a book for about 20 years. I love the look of a good crime thriller so I really need to get into reading.
Debbie, My Random Musings
Don’t feel bad – we all have different interests 🙂

Some of these look right up my street. I love a good thriller, but don’t often get time to sit down and read and I’ve just cancelled my audible subscription because I’ve been listening to podcasts instead. #BloggerClubUK

I’m not a fan of crime thrillers so I’ve read none of these. I am a big Michael Morpurgo fan and am currently reading Listen to the Moon. I’ve yet to find out whether the characters is a ghost or not. #bloggerclubuk
