Welcome to this year’s A-Z Blogging Challenge. My theme for this year is character prompts. Each day throughout April, you’ll find a new character prompt that relates to that day’s letter.
Day Nine: I – Invisible for a Day
Your character is invisible for twenty-four hours.
Where do they go? What do they do?
Would they use their power for good or bad?
Would they enjoy the experience? Why?
Would they hear good or bad things about themselves? How would that make them feel?
I’d love to read some of the scenarios you create. Email them to me at debbie@myrandommusings.co.uk and I’ll share some of my favourites over the coming months here on the blog.

Like wearing the invisibility cloak in Harry Potter. Fun but dangerous too.
Setting bombs in terrorist camps comes to the top of my mind. A thought provoking prompt indeed.
Being invisible is something I’ve been making sure I haven’t become as Midlife has descended. To actually choose to be invisible for a day holds no real interest to me – I can’t think of anywhere I’d be interested in sneaking into….

Years ago I actually read a book where the character was able to go invisible for a short while. It didn’t go too well.
~Patricia Lynne aka Patricia Josephine~
Sounds like a fun read though
Another good prompt. I’m bookmarking this whole stream for that eventual need.
I’m glad you’re enjoying them 🙂
That’s a fun prompt. I’d probably love being invisible for a day. At least until I heard something I didn’t like… My character would probably hate it, but I may incorporate this prompt into my current story. Great prompt!
I think I’d love it too – even the bits I wished I hadn’t heard would show me who I could actually trust and who was fake
This sounds like a really cool prompt! I think it’s part of why I don’t write science fiction or fantasy though. I have trouble wrapping my head around something that’s so not feasible. (I love reading it, but haven’t ever written it.) It might be a good exercise!

I really enjoy writing fantasy although I never thought I would – it’s so much fun to break the rules!
