Welcome to this year’s A-Z Blogging Challenge. My theme for this year is character prompts. Each day throughout April, you’ll find a new character prompt that relates to that day’s letter.
Day Six: F – Free Holiday
Your character wins a free two-week holiday. They can go anywhere in the world with any person.
Where do they go? Why?
Who do they take with them? Why that person?
What do they get up to on the holiday?
Do they have a good time?
How does the holiday change them if it does?
How do they feel upon their return home?
I’d love to read some of the scenarios you create. Email them to me at debbie@myrandommusings.co.uk and I’ll share some of my favourites over the coming months here on the blog.

Why is it only in fiction that people win free holidays? Wouldn’t it be nice if it happened in real life? I’d love to win a holiday – I don’t think I’d care if it was down the street, as long as it involved a 5 star hotel and being pampered!

Ooh, this really made me think. My character has a contagious disease that makes people go crazy as one of its side effects. So she doesn’t go many places but this city in California that is quarantined. I think she would go to the place in Pennsylvania where she was when she contracted the illness. It is pretty remote and beautiful, so with a little planning she probably wouldn’t meet anyone she could infect. This was kind of a sad train of thought for me, strangely enough!

If anyone deserves a holiday it’s that girl!

This has so many possibilities. Nice.
