As you all know, I love a good quote and I love a bit of sarcasm too. These three quotes are definitely a bit tongue in cheek, but I think all of us bloggers will be nodding along to them.
Being famous on Instagram is like being rich in Monopoly.
The difference between “influencers” and actual influential people is influential people don’t need to point it out in their Twitter bio.
You only live once – make you spend fifteen hours a day on the internet seeking validation from strangers.

Definitely agree with these! Instagram is the worst – you either spend money or just sit around forcing your number to grow. And then it drops again for no reason. #AnythingGoes

I’ve just accepted Instagram is always going to be rubbish and now I just let it do its thing lol

I would be so interested to see how blogging is looked back on in 20 years time. What would they say about all this madness then? haha xx
Debbie, My Random Musings
They’re going to look at it the way we look at writing a letter instead of emailing – they know it’s possible but can’t fathom out why anyone would do it haha
Mummy here and there
I love this collection of quotes they are so funny X #anythinggoes
Tubbs
Slightly harsh! People are very snobby about bloggers and social media in general

Oh my goodness, so funny! The first is my favorite! My friends and family often call me a โfamous bloggerโ and I totally crack up because I am so not! I think I will have to retort with that quote from now on…โbeing a famous blogger is like being rich in Monopolyโ! Hahaha! Thanks for sharing. #BlogCrush

great quotes…. I’ve not had them directed at me yeet but maybe thats because i’m not yet a successful blogger or influencer so people don’t notice I’m always spouting my opinion in order to help/influence/share/ chat ๐ …maybe no-ones listening – i’m offf to tweet about it, get myself some validation ๐ . Cheers Debbie #BloggerClubUK
Debbie, My Random Musings
Haha love a bit of validation ๐

Lucy At Home
Haha yup these are brilliant! I just read them out to my hubby who is sitting next to me too. And the last one is actually quite poignant and gives you pause for thought – why do we care so much about the opinion of strangers??
Anyway someone really enjoyed this post so they added it to the BlogCrush linky for some extra exposure. Congrats! If you’d like, you can now collect your “I’ve been featured” blog badge ๐ #blogcrush

Jayden R. Vincente
I love that last one!
When YOLO became a “thing,” it made me angry. Teenagers, in particular, were using it as an excuse to do whatever they wanted, good or bad. But I think it’s a great thing to remember – we get one shot at this, so live with no regrets, put one foot in front of the other through the bad times, and spend your free time doing things you love. (But you still have to be responsible!)
Debbie, My Random Musings
Another of my favourite sarcastic quotes – “Yolo: carpe diem for idiots” ๐
It is good to live a life of no regrets, but not the expense of anyone else.
Sassy
Ahaha I love them all! 1st one has to be my favourite ๐
