I think we actually recycled our advent calendar every year. it was a religious one and no chocolate and part of me really wishes Christmas was less commercial and more about the real meaning of the whole thing. Having said that, there are some fun choices here. The children would go for Lego and I would go for jam and marmalade #AnythingGoes
Jo (A Rose Tinted World)
Some brilliant ones. As you say, whatever your thing is there is now an advent calendar. The Jo Malone one is ยฃ300!! #AnythingGoes

I’ve got myself the M&S one. My first advent since I was a child and then it was exciting pictures behind the door not even chocolates.

For the last few years we’ve gone in a different direction with advent calendars. We make our own little Christmas themed bags and fill them with sweets for the four girls each day. We use little pegs to hang them from a string of fair lights along our dining room wall. When you have four girls, these advent calendars to buy get expensive!

There really are so many options for advent calendars this year aren’t there! I think we’ll be sticking with the standard chocolate ones, although I’m strangely tempted by the jam one on your list! x #BloggerClubUK
Debbie, My Random Musings
The jam one seems to be one of the most popular ones! x

I’ve never been one for the advent calendars. Though I will say if I had the money I would totally buy a Yankee Candle one. I just love their candles! #anythinggoes
