I’ve been doing a bit of reflecting over the last few weeks with regards to this blog and there are going to be some big changes next year. I’m really excited about the changes, but I’m not going to announce them just yet as they’re still in the planning stages and everything could change again yet.
If you want to know what they are, you’ll have to watch this space.
The reflection included, amongst other things, looking back over some of the year’s posts, and I thought it would be nice to share with you all my top five favourite posts from this year.
1 Five Books That Will Give You Nightmares
Horror and books are two of my biggest loves, so I think it’s pretty clear why I’ve chosen this one.
2 7 Ways to Appear Confident – Even When You’re Not
Confidence is something that I think everyone struggles with sometimes, and learning a few tricks to appear confident on the bad days can be a big game changer.
3 Email Response: What I Want To Say Vs What I Actually Say
It was nice to write something light hearted, but at the same time get to have a good rant – bloggers everywhere will totally understand this one.
4 5 Things You Should Think About Before Going Self Employed
Working for myself is by far the best decision I’ve ever made, but I put it off for years because I wasn’t sure how it worked and whether or not I’d be able to make it all work for me. Even though I wouldn’t change it now, being self employed isn’t for everyone, and this post shares five things to think about if you’re debating making the leap. It’s the post I wish I’d been able to read when I was trying to make the decision.
5 3 Sarcastic Quotes All Bloggers Will Nod Along To
Again, it was nice to write something a bit light hearted, and something all bloggers will totally understand.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the little trip down memory lane. Which post is your favourite? Let me know in the comments ๐

There are some great posts here Deb and I haven’t read them all, so will do a bit of catch up today! Exciting to hear you have changes coming. I was going to wait til next year to change mine, but I really needed to cut back so started my big changes in November – cutting down from 2 posts + a guest post to only one post a week. My head feels a lot less full now – but who knows what the year ahead holds?

Thank you, I hope you enjoy them ๐ Oh that sounds great, it’s so good sometimes to cut back a bit and stop your head spinning!

I loved the post about the email response! I still chuckle because I get the most insane requests from people to contribute my work for free. #AnythingGoes

Interesting mix and I look forward to your big changes. I am in a similar frame of mind about my own blog – new year, new start or perhaps even back to basics as to why I started blogging in the first place. Good Luck with it all1 #AnythingGoes

Thanks Kate ๐ That’s basically where I’m at – I think I’ve read so many differing views on how to be “successful” that I’ve lost track of why I started out in the first place.
