Welcome to day five of the A-Z Challenge – E is for Eeny Meeny.
My theme for this year is “The A-Z of My Favourite Books and Authors”. Each day (except Sunday) will feature a book or author whose title or first or last name starts with the corresponding letter of the alphabet.
Eeny Meeny by M J Arlidge is a crime thriller that has an element of Saw in it – two people find themselves locked in a room and only one can survive. It will make you question how far you would truly go to survive in the face of death. It’s a fab book with plenty of twists and things that keep you guessing all the way up until the very end.
Have you read Eeny Meeny? Did you enjoy it? Let me know in the comments 🙂

Oh no. No. Just no. I couldn’t see Saw. Or any of those types of movies. Too gruesome for me. (But people seem to like these stories, so it’ll find its audience.)

Lol 🙂

Love this author – keeps me guessing right to the last page
Amy SIMPSON

Nilanjana Bose
Not one I’ve read, sounds great though a little gruesome 🙂
Debbie, My Random Musings
It is a little gruesome, but it’s very well written and really makes you think too

The title sounds creepy for sure. I never heard of it and I never watched Saw. I don’t like the idea of horror in anything and I know they aren’t all bad but really? Eeny meeny? what comes after? Miny moe? haha, clever.
Debbie, My Random Musings
This is definitely isn’t one of the cheesy ones
Lael
I love books that get me thinking like that 🙂
Debbie, My Random Musings
Me too 🙂
Janet Miles
I don’t know if I could read this, but it sounds interesting. Just a side note, when I try to “like” your posts it shows as it is still loading and I can’t click on anything. This has happened every time I try. Comments go through but if you’re not getting very many “likes” this could be why?
Debbie, My Random Musings
Oh thanks for letting me know. To be honest I never check likes but I will investigate and see why it’s not working
Wendy
Co-incidentally I’ve just finished Liar Liar which was my first Arlidge book. I enjoyed it and would probably seek out more but not sure about this one. Sounds a bit horrific.
Debbie, My Random Musings
It’s really not that bad – if you enjoyed Liar Liar, you’ll enjoy this one too
Heather Keet
This one may be too dark for me, I’m not a fan of the Saw movies. #AnythingGoes
Debbie, My Random Musings
Maybe one to avoid then – its’ not as gory as Saw like

Way out of my comfort zone – and I don’t want to even consider what I’d do if my survival depended on it – my competitive streak is best left to board games!
Debbie, My Random Musings
Haha 🙂
Ronel Janse van Vuuren
Sounds like I might enjoy it too much… LOL. Thanks for the recommendation!
