There’s nothing like the sun shining and the barbecue going to make you want a nice refreshing cocktail is there? And sometimes, you just want something nice and easy that doesn’t require a blender and half a dozen liqueurs you’ve never even heard of.
Below is a recipe for a fruity and refreshing summer punch.
Summer Punch Recipe
Warning – this punch is very strong – drink responsibly.
This recipe makes ten 250ml servings.
What You Will Need:
- 750ml White Zinfandel rose wine (a 75cl bottle)
- 500ml Strawberry cider
- 200ml Pink gin
- 200ml Parma violet gin
- 850ml lemonade (or more if you don’t want it to be as potent)
- Ice to serve
- Strawberries and lime for garnish if required
What To Do
1 Pour the White Zinfandel and the strawberry cider into a large punch bowl or jug
2 Add the pink gin and the parma violet gin and mix well
3 Leave in a fridge or on ice until it’s ice cold
4 Decorate the bowl or jug with slices of lime and strawberries if required
5 Add the lemonade when you are ready to serve
6 Add ice to the serving glasses rather than the main bowl or jug to avoid watering it down
7 Serve and enjoy
