The Questions I Was Asked and My Answers
1 Between spring, summer, autumn and winter, you prefer…? Why ?
I prefer summer as I love the sun. I always feel happier when the sun is shining, even if I know I’m going to be stuck indoors. It’s strange because for all summer is my favourite season, Christmas is still my favourite time of the year.
2 You like to write: Where? When? Alone? With a Workshop?
I like to write at home. I’m far too nosey to go to a coffee shop or something and try to write – I’d get nothing done for people watching haha. I’ve never tried a writing workshop. In theory, I think they’re a good idea, but then I always think the time it takes getting there and back is time I could have spent writing instead.
3 What is your favourite sound?
I don’t think I have one. I quite like the sound of the sea but who doesn’t?
4 You can choose to go anywhere in the world. Where would you go?
It’s got to be New York hasn’t it?
5 Who would you like to interview (a person from the past or present or future)? What questions would you ask?
I’d love to interview a real life exorcist. I’d ask them:
- Do you really believe in possession or do you think it’s a delusional and the exorcism works because the person believes it will?
- Has anything you have seen challenged that belief?
- Have you ever been genuinely afraid during an exorcism and if so, can you describe the experience?
- How do you prepare for an exorcism?
- Is there anything special you do after the exorcism?
- What’s the most challenging exorcism you’ve ever been a part of and how did you make it a success?
- Have you ever been part of a failed exorcism, and if so, what happened next?
6 Your favourite clothes/outfit?
A pair of comfortable jeans and a t-shirt of some description. I love high heels, but they don’t love me haha.
7 Your favourite author?
I get asked this question all the time and I hate it because choosing just one is so hard, so I’m going to cheat and list a few haha. Stephen King, John Grisham, Jodi Picoult, Adele Parks, Steve Cavanagh and Michael Grant come to mind as those authors who I look forward to hearing of a new release from.
8 Your favourite music?
I don’t mind a bit of cheesy pop, but I mostly like rock music.
9 Your favourite painter?
I don’t have one. I don’t know the first thing about art.
10 Your favourite film director?
I’d probably have to go with Eli Roth. I don’t particularly follow any director’s career and go out of my way to see all of their movies, but I’m a horror fan and I think I have seen most of Eli Roth’s movies.
11 Your favourite poem? If you can, include it.
This is probably a bit morbid, but Mary Elizabth Frye’s Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Hi Debbie, just saw your reply to my sunshine blogger tag ! ! Have just rated WordPress 3/10 because of the glitches ! Go figure.
Thank you for your honest and fun replies.
The sound of the sea….how about ‘the morning hush’ and ‘the swift uplifting rush’ ! Personally I like the sound of any water running, moving and any breath of air or wind flowing through an obstacle (natural or man-made).
An exorcist ? Horror movies ? Have you been following the excellent Supernatural series, darker and darker….
Have a great Summer, pack your body and mind full of sunshine and energy…and save it for the winter to tide you over until Christmas. Then become a tennis fan and watch a month of Australian sunshine, and players sweating their heads off hitting a fluffy yellow ball !
Speak with you soon.

Debbie, My Random Musings
I do quite like the sound of rain on the windows, I hadn’t thought of that one at the time lol. I really need to see Supernatural. Somehow by the time I heard about it, it was already into season 3 and I didn’t want to start there. I’m hoping Netflix acquire it soon!
