The first question is a toughie. I’d like to do both, but I guess if I had to pick…read.
Second question: B. I’ve worked jobs I don’t love and I’d rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable. It’s better for my mental health.
Third question: Learn a language. I only know one, so it’d be cool to learn a second.

I love movies, but I could live without them sooner than I could live without books

1. B 2. B 3. A
It’s a tough one the last question but I think a new language would open more doors than a new skill – I guess depends on what skill was offered!! Lol

I’d love to learn Spanish

Money isn’t everything – id rather be happy

I’m tempted to go for the big money job and do it for ten years and then retire haha

I prefer to read, but in the larger scheme of things and in the interest of saving time, I would probably watch the movie. I would definitely choose a job I like instead of one that paid a lot for something I hate to do. Question Three, I would prefer to learn a new skill over learning a new language because I can already understand a few.
Debbie, My Random Musings
I’d love to learn another language. Which ones do you speak?
Donna McNicol
The first is a toughie since it depends on the movie. Books, I will read anytime.
On the second, I have to love what I’m doing or there is no way I will be successful. That’s what worked in my former IT career.
Three, definitely learn a new skill. After living in Ecuador for two years, I know how hard it is to learn a new language (especially as we age).

I’d love to learn Spanish but I can definitely imagine it being hard!

I want to read a book, work a job I love, and learn a new skill. #AnythingGoes

A, B, B. I am trying to learn something new each month. One of the things I tried was learning Spanish from an app. I liked it but didn’t keep up with it once the month was over. Another month I taught myself how to juggle. Loved it! I guess I would rather learn a new skill.

I’ve always wanted to learn Spanish

BAB thus time although a close call on question 1 and second one very much informed by current skintness at a time when we need to spend on vital stuff. Last one is more about improving on a languge and i always want to learn new skills. So a mixed bag #AnythingGoes

I really want to learn Spanish, but something else always comes along instead
Janet
A, B, B – I love to read books, but if I’m honest, a movie is something I tend to multi-task with working these days. Q2, I would like both, but I’d prefer to be in a job I love above the money. Q3 I keep thinking it’s about time I learned a new language, but learning a skill always seems to take precedence as there is so much I want to learn.

I’d love to learn Spanish, but you’re right – there’s always something more practical pops up and the time goes on that

My answers – BAA.

B,B & B for me. I love learning new skills and I’d rather watch a really good film. I’d definitely prefer to work a job I loved too x #AnythingGoes

I’d have to go for books over movies, although I like a good movie too
Michelle Kellogg
for the first one I love to do both though not at the same time lol. I would choose the book though if I have to choose.
for the second one I would rather love my job but make little money. I had done the former and it made me miserable. It led me to drinking and becoming very distant with my kids because I was constantly stressed out. I’ll take being poor but be closer to my kids over being miserable and stressed out all the time any day.
For the third I would love to do both. But if I have to choose then learn a new language, even though I don’t think I’m capable of it.
Thanks for hosting #AnythingGoes

I’d choose book and a language too. I think I’d go for a well paid job I didn’t like though, do it for a few years, save up, and then quit haha
