I know. I remember when I was a kid and one with chocolate in it was a novelty haha

I haven’t had one for the last few years. Keep saying I’m going to but just never bother
I like the playmobile calendar. A sensory experience that enhances fine motor skills and doesn’t involve chocolate. So many children have allergies or are hyperactive. This is a nice alternative.

There are so many to choose from it has become a challenge for my kids to choose one. I like to get my old family felt reindeer advent calendar out and we can put our own little surprises in ourselves x x
A homemade one sounds fun – at least then you know they’ll like everything they get x
I am sure we recycled the Advent Calendar every year when I was a child and there was a picture and chocolate was not heard of. I like the candle one from your list in particular #BloggerClubUK
I definitely remember chocolate advent calendars from being a kid, but it was a tiny piece of pretty nasty tasting stuff haha. Nothing like the fab ones available today.
