I really liked Gone Girl. I don’t think I could deal with We need to talk about Kevin…tho no doubt that it’s good. My best was Educated by Tara Westover. I loved it and Museum of Modern Love. #AnythingGoes

I loved We Need To Talk About Kevin, but it’s definitely not for the faint hearted!

I read Gone Girl long before the movie and loved it.
Although she’s more of a YA writer, i love Lani Taylors Daughter of Smoke and Bone series which i read a few years ago. The way she has the ability to create another world so vividly in your mind is fantastic.
I also love Deborah Harkness for a similar reason.
I used to also really enjoy Sophie Kinsella for a more light chic lit read which has you laughing out loud.

Always looking for good book recommendations, thanks! My favorite book of 2019 was The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society. It’s an epistolary novel but really fun to read

Sounds like a nice light hearted read
