Welcome to day two of the A-Z Challenge and today’s letter is B.
The A-Z Challenge involves blogging every day except Sundays and each day corresponds to a letter of the alphabet. The daily posts most relate to that letter and can all have a theme or can be totally random. My theme this year is Recommended Reading, where I will share three to five books for each letter that I have really enjoyed and think more people should read.
I have tried to have a mix of authors and genres but you will notice some real favourites occurring more than once. The posts do contain affiliate links (don’t worry, they don’t affect you in any way but if you want to know more, check the end of the post). Below you will find today’s chosen books:
The Beast House Trilogy by Richard Laymon
I’m not usually a big fan of monster type horror, but the exception to that is definitely the Beast House books. I’ve read this series multiple times and it never fails to pull me in. To read the blurb or to buy, click here.
The Boy Who Followed His Father Into Auschwitz by Jeremy Dronfield
What happened to the Jewish community during the Holocaust was of course, horrific. They were treated in ways no human being should ever be treated. And yet, there’s something about the events of WW2 that keep us intrigued. To read the blurb or to buy, click here.
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins
This book is a good read if you are addicted the The Hunger Games series. This book follows a young President Snow and while I don’t think it was quite aa good as the original books, it’s an interesting read all the same. To read the blurb or to buy, click here.
The Book Club by C J Cooper
This book is about the new person in town and who accepts them and who quietly resets their presence there. A good look at group dynamics with a twisty, surprise murder investigation. To read the burb or to buy, click here.

I’m adding The Book Club to my TBR. That looks good!
