Welcome to day fifteen of the A-Z Challenge and today’s letter is O.
The A-Z Challenge involves blogging every day except Sundays and each day corresponds to a letter of the alphabet. The daily posts most relate to that letter and can all have a theme or can be totally random. My theme this year is Recommended Reading, where I will share three to five books for each letter that I have really enjoyed and think more people should read.
I have tried to have a mix of authors and genres but you will notice some real favourites occurring more than once. The posts do contain affiliate links (don’t worry, they don’t affect you in any way but if you want to know more, check the end of the post). Below you will find today’s chosen books:
One Last Secret by Adele Parks
Just when you think one of your favourite authors couldn’t possibly get any better, Adele Parks pulls this little number out. Twisty, turny, and completely addictive, this kept me hooked from start to end. To read the blurb or buy the book, click here.
One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus
I’ve enjoyed all of Karen McManus’s books. The are all full of twists that you won’t see coming and One of Us Is Lying is no exception. To read the blurb or buy the book, click here.
One by One by Ruth Ware
Ruth Ware is one of my favourite writers and I have never read anything by her that I didn’t love. One by One is a fantastic murder mystery that kept me guessing until the very end. To read the blurb or to buy the book, click here.
Outbreak by Frank Gardner
As the name suggests, Outbreak is a story about a pandemic and how it gets started and gets out. I think since covid, these kinds of books feel so much more relatable. To read the blurb or buy the book, click here.

Lydia C. Lee
I read Station 11 at the start of COvid and google how on earth she got it published so quickly. But it was written a decade before. I couldn’t beleive how spot on she was. And yes, all those books are so much more relatable since covid!
Debbie, My Random Musings
It’s crazy isn’t it!
