For this year’s A-Z Challenge, I have decided to do “An A-Z of Sarah J Maas characters”. The characters will be from the ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses) and ToG (Throne of Glass) series’ because when I first started researching this idea, I hadn’t read all of the CC (Crescent City) series.
Each day I will focus on one character from ACOTAR, TOG, or both, and I will share things such as an image of how I imagine them to look, what I like or dislike about the character, and how they affect the story.
I will try my best not to have any spoilers and if there are any, they will only be small ones – if I judge this differently to you then I apologise in advance.
Without further ado, let’s get to today’s post – Day Twenty Six, Z.
ToG – Z is for ‘Zee’ Pirate
Captain Rolfe is another character that we first meet in Assassin’s Blade. He is another character who is kind of morally grey, but when it comes down to it, he comes through on the right side. For all he is in the grey area, he always has his own people at his heart and his decisions are based around wanting the best for them.
He is kind of arrogant and cocky but in a fun sort of a way and he is one of those characters you can’t help but like, even when you maybe shouldn’t.
Do you like today’s choice(s)? Who would you have chosen for this letter? Let me know in the comments.

Congratulations on making it to the end of the challenge. It’s not tomorrow yet here but I’ve already written the post and I’m looking forward to getting some time back in my evenings for reading.

Thank you! I enjoy the challenge but it’s always nice to press publish on Z lol

Morally grey characters are usually good at surprising others.
Congrats on finishing the challenge! You’ve made me want to read these series fully, so you probably made that goal (if you had it).
