Welcome Back and Some Changes

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas and have started the New Year with a bang. It’s been great to have some time off from the blog, but I’m really happy to be back too. Of course as a blogger you never really have time off do you? But still, it was nice to take a step back.

I said at the end of last year that I had some exciting changes coming for 2019 and it’s time to reveal those changes now. The major change is that I’ve launched a brand new blog which I am super excited about. Why? Well I started this blog as a place to write about things I enjoyed and wanted to talk about. As the name suggest, my random musings.

As time went on, I found myself moving away from that and talking more and more about writing. Now that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing – I am passionate about writing and I love being able to help new writers get on the path to achieving their writing dreams – but it’s not what this blog was ever meant to be about.

And so, I made the decision to launch a blog dedicated to all things writing, where you can find posts about every stage of the writing journey. You can take a look here.

I also decided that although I definitely want to keep this blog alive and take it back to what it was originally intended to be, I would have to cut back slightly. For most of the last three years, I’ve posted daily to this blog, sometimes two or three times a day, but that just isn’t feasible with a new blog on the horizon (and of course the actual need to write for clients and make a living).

 

The new schedule for this blog will be:

 

Monday – Anything Goes linky

Wednesday – Blogger Club UK linky

Friday and Sunday – New blog posts

  3. Hi Deb – congrats on the new site and on working out where you want your blogging to head into the future. I think we all do little ‘stop and reassess’ pauses to make sure blogging is still satisfying (or why do it?) and it’s great to see you moving forward in a new direction. I’m also glad to see that Anything Goes is stayin – it’s become a favourite for me. Happy 2019 x
